The college application process can be intimidating,
but with the right tools and resources,
anyone can apply to college with confidence.
I'm here to help you make it happen.
Specialty Expertise
I absolutely help all kinds of people apply to college, but I am uniquely
qualified (both personally and professionally) to advise in the following areas:
LGBTQIA+ Support & Safety
My life's work is centered around helping marginalized students find the schools where they will be safe and loved and known. I'm a trans-nonbinary educator who attended an inclusive women's college. I have spent my time in higher education exploring the social, creative, and political nuances of what it means to be queer; my sociology degree from Barnard/Columbia revolved around anti-racist intersectional feminism and queer liberation. Now, I’m co-chair of the Advocacy/DEI committee for HECA, I’m in a nonprofit group called IECs for Human Rights (a group of CACs who work to uplift human rights issues in the context of college admissions), and I’m on the board of a new nonprofit called Campus Q which seeks to promote safety and wellbeing for LGBTQ+ college applicants/students.

Performing Arts Prep & Auditions
If you want to pursue the performing arts, the workload of the college application process doubles. As a theatre director with a theatre directing degree from Barnard/Columbia, as a college admissions consultant, and as someone who went through the college audition process dozens of times myself, I am uniquely qualified to help students navigate this complicated process–– especially students who don't match the stereotype. For my sociology degree, I conducted an auto-ethnographic research thesis on the dynamics of youth theatre and queer identity formation: "How Theatre Gives Gender: Acting as a Corporeal Catalyst for Queerness."
College is all about
doing things
your way.
A truly successful collegiate experience looks different for every student, and it takes a lot of careful consideration to discover exactly what that means for you, and you alone. College is all about doing things your way.
As a college admission consultant, it's my mission to help you forge your academic path forward in a way that honors your goals, your boundaries, and your personal wellbeing.
