Services

As a consultant, I categorize all of the work I do into the following four categories of service: College List Development, Application Guidance, Essay Mentorship, and Task & Time Management. The implementation of each service is entirely tailored to the unique wants and needs of each client. Furthermore, I don't charge clients per essay draft, per application platform, nor per school–– instead, clients can choose to receive services via my hourly package or my comprehensive package.

College List Development

Your entire college experience depends on whether you take time at the outset of the college app process to ensure that your schools fit you, and that you fit your schools. My process is designed to help you determine your personal and academic priorities, research which schools actually fit that specific criteria, and strategically balance your final list according to the results of my academic challenge assessment. Save time, money, and heartache in the long run: avoid applying to schools you won't actually choose, and schools that won't actually choose you.

App Guidance

The college application process is all about asking questions, compiling answers, and keeping track of your work. Seems simple enough, but it can be extremely difficult to determine exactly what questions you should be asking, where to find accurate answers, and how to keep track of your progress when there are so many moving parts. That's why I have spent the last eight years developing my original spreadsheet method for college app management to help students conquer these challenges. For each student, I customize my method to fit their unique needs and interests. Additionally, under my application guidance, I provide application troubleshooting, mock interview coaching, research assistance, monologue coaching and audition planning for performing arts students, and more.

Essay Mentorsip

Although they may come in many forms...

Every personal essay prompt is asking: WHY do YOU want to go to college?

Every supplemental essay prompt is asking: WHY do YOU want to go to THIS college?

In order to write effective college essays, you must first understand your genuine answers to these questions. From there, it is a process of brainstorming, composition, reflection, and repetition. As an essay mentor, I offer guidance through these four stages and provide in-depth feedback about each evolutionary stage of your writing in order to help you capture your personality on paper, communicate your WHYs clearly, and achieve the quality of writing that colleges expect.

T&T Management

It's one thing to tick boxes and keep track of your progress as you go. Scheduling your progress ahead of time, however, is a totally different beast: one which you must tame in order to complete your applications punctually and thoroughly. Together, we can work to help you visualize your progress, practice healthy time management, and evenly spread out your workload across a daily, weekly, and monthly basis in order to minimize stress and maximize productivity.
