Why I offer it:

    • Every college application process can be boiled down to a long list of questions and answers. When are my apps actually due? What does each school expect from me? How ugly is that campus, and how ancient are their first-year dorms? That's why it's important to know what questions you should be asking, and how to find the right answers. As a consultant, I lead each student through the process of determining exactly what questions need to be asked, where to find accurate answers, and how to keep track of that information in a simple and accessible way.

Organization & Time Management

What you receive:

  • Customizing a Master Spreadsheet
    • Organizing all the aforementioned information into a holistic Google spreadsheet, developed personally by Miller and customized specifically to serve each student’s interests and needs; chronologizing the spreadsheet by program–specific deadlines and application type per school (Early Decision, Early Action, or Regular)

    • Providing all questions and categories to be considered by students & families throughout the admissions process, and providing designated space to keep track of those answers on the spreadsheet, all in one place

    • With the student's permission, families can view their customized Master Spreadsheet and To-Do Calendar in order to learn about their student's current application progress

  • Designing a Custom To-Do Calendar
    • Creating and continually updating a holistic to-do calendar for task & time management, developed personally by Miller and customized specifically to serve each new student’s interests and needs; providing student with the ability to see all short-term and long-term priorities and deadlines at a glance; collaborative organizational tool for students to keep track of progress, practice healthy time management, and evenly spread out their workload in order to prioritize mental health throughout the admissions process

I began developing my spreadsheet method when I first applied to college myself. Since then, I've always continued updating my core template to keep up with the evolution of higher education.

    • I personally completed the college application process three separate times: first as a high school senior, then during my gap year, and finally as a transfer student. I applied to over thirty–five schools total, in addition to countless theatre program auditions. As a student, I learned the hard way that it's crucial to determine your own personal strategy at the beginning of the application process in order to maximize your efficiency, minimize your stress, and preserve your mental and physical wellbeing.
